Adult Summer Reading Begins May 29

Summer reading programs are not just for kids! If you?re an avid adult reader (age 18+), OPL wants you to be a part of our Adult Summer Reading program, ?Groundbreaking Reads.? Sign up at the Reference Desk beginning May 29th, and, just for signing up, you?ll receive an awesome "So Many Books, So Little Time? zip pouch to hold your library card. Read three books between May 29th and July 31st, and you?ll earn a gift certificate to either Graham?s Ice Cream or the Little Bake Shop, plus your name will be entered into a drawing for other great prizes, including a ?Dining Out Ottumwa? gift basket, a ?Car Spa? gift basket, and?ta dah!!?a Nexus 7 tablet (yes, really!!!). The prize drawing will take place at 3:00 p.m. on July 31st. So mark your calendar, tie a string around your finger, or program your smart phone?just don?t forget to sign up beginning May 29th, and this summer you?ll be amazed to find ?tons? of ?Groundbreaking Reads? at the Ottumwa Public Library.
