All Ages Photo Contest: My Neighborhood, My Library
Do you love to take photos of your neighborhood and Library? We want to see them!In conjunction with the County initiative Tell Arlington's Story, we are holding a photo contest seeking new or historical photographs of all eight Arlington Public Library sites, and their neighborhoods.
Show us the architecture, flavor and qualities of the places that make your neighborhood and Library special.Contest Guidelines:
- Format: Digital images - jpg 300dpi or larger - saved on a CD or thumb drive
- Entry Form: Complete the second page of the "My Neighborhood, My Library" entry form (pdf)
- Limit: 15 images per person
- Deadline: July 31, 2011
- Entries can be dropped off at any Arlington Public Library location
Exhibit Details:
- Winners will be notified by August 31, 2011
- Winning entries will be exhibited at the Arlington County Libraries
- Winners must be able to hand deliver their framed photos to the Library
- Framed photos will be returned to the artist after the exhibit
