Arlington Public School students from Barrett Elementary School won two Shortie Award for youth filmmaking this week, one of which was awarded for this short video of Greg Mortenson's Three Cups of Tea.
The students' video, which won in the animation category for age 7-10, is created in the style of the picture book Listen to the Wind: The story of Greg Mortenson and Three Cups of Tea, a companion to Mortenson's original book. Congratulations to the young filmmakers!
The 2010 Shortie Awards were presented Tuesday, May 25, at the French Embassy.
