Author Event: "The Dog Who Ate the Truffle" - Nov. 10

Join us at the Central Library Auditorium next Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm for a discussion with Suzanne Carreiro, author of The Dog Who Ate the Truffle.

Veteran food critic Suzanne Carreiro lived in the central Italian region of Umbria next door to her "adopted family" for a year and a half. Her book is a personal look at local recipes and culinary traditions, many of which can be traced back 2,000 years: roasting meat on a spit, making wine, pressing olives for oil, making cheese and cooking with saffron, pepper and bay leaves.
