Author Talk: "White House Story"



Former White House Visitors Office chief Melina Bates will speak at Central Library on Tuesday, June 22, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., about her experiences working at the White House.

Melinda Bates, author of White House Story and A Walk Through the White House, ran the White House Visitors Office during the entire 8 year run of the Clinton administration. Breakfast with movie stars, Easter Egg rolls and gifts from kings were all in a day's work.
