Awesome News From a Former Teen Volunteer

Last week Mariela (one of the librarians at the Central Library) received an awesome message from a former teen volunteer:
Guess what? I got a job at my school's Main Library! I start tomorrow; today was my training! And it went really well because I already knew it all from when I volunteered with you guys! So I just wanted to thank you for everything!
What wonderful news!
Mariela adds, "I'm so happy we have this program! These teens are not just a great help to us, but we also have an impact in their lives."

If you know a teen who would be interested in volunteering at the Library, check out our Volunteer Opportunities for Teens.
