Ignite

Impress us with your words. You've got five minutes using 20 slides that advance every 15 seconds to ignite some new ideas. Using a combination of innovative slides and lightning fast talk, participants will be charged with the task of inspiring an MLA audience. The trick is to keep it short and sweet. Have an idea that you've wanted to shout out to the world? Can you talk fast? The clock starts......NOW!

The Ignite session will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015, 3:00 - 3:50 p.m.

Submissions will be collected through Friday, July 24, 2015. If you are selected, you will be notified by August 3, 2015 with further instructions.

Fizzle

Impress us with your failure. Not all great ideas are a smashing success, some are dismal failures. The trick is to learn and shape that failure into the next great idea. You've got five minutes to open up about how you fueled the fizzle into a roaring flame! Fizzle presentations are designed to not only share with peers and colleagues that failure is essential to progress, but also that it should not be a roadblock to innovation. It's time for you to come clean and talk about your greatest defeat, but make sure you can do it under five minutes.

The Fizzle session will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015, 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.

Submissions will be collected through Friday, July 24, 2015. If you are selected, you will be notified by August 3, 2015 with further instructions.
