DHCS Colloquium: November 14 - 16, 2009

The annual Chicago Colloquium on Digital Humanities and Computer Science (DHCS) was established to bring together researchers and scholars in the humanities and computer science to advance the digital humanities as a field of intellectual inquiry and to identify and explore new directions and perspectives for future research.

This year, DHCS will be held at the Illinois Institute of Technology, with the theme "Critical Computing", seeking to explore how best to develop productive research collaborations between computer scientists and humanists. The colloquium is sponsored by Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Chicago, and Northwestern University.

We invite proposals for presentations, posters, demos, and panel discussions on all topics that intersect current theory and practice in the humanities and computer science. Please see the colloquium website for more detailed information.

Submission Format: Please submit an abstract of up to 1000 words in Adobe PDF format via http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/DHCS2009
