The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries 2013 Symposium Friday, December 6, 2013
The 2013 ACRL/NY Annual Symposium ?*The Library as Knowledge Laboratory*? will explore the opportunities and challenges facing academic librarians in light of scholars? increased demands for new formats, open-source tools, digital repositories, and innovative research methods in the new knowledge
laboratory. For further information about the symposium, go to: http://acrlnysymp2013.
ACRL/NY invites you to submit a poster session proposal for the 2013 Symposium. Your poster session can address any issue related to this theme. Examples include but are not limited to:· Transforming physical space· Service models· Scalability and/or Sustainability· Interaction between IT, faculty and librarians· New staffing needs and job titles· Re-skilling· Changing culture· Securing real estate· Assessment/Evaluation of programs and people· Connecting to teaching faculty· Promoting a program to library administration· Managing administrative expectations
