Call for Presentations at ALA Annual 2012 in Anaheim, California - ALCTS Affiliate Relations Committee
The ALCTS Affiliate Relations Committee, formerly known as the ALCTS Council of Regional Groups, is hosting a program at ALA Annual featuring YOU, the members of our ALCTS Affiliate Groups from around the country.
Have you developed a technical services "best practice" at your local institution that you think others might find useful? Is your institution involved in a new project which involves staff from technical services units? Are there valuable local programs that you want your colleagues in other regions to know about?
If you answer yes (or even maybe) to any of these questions, we invite you to participate in our first annual Affiliates Showcase! You may show a poster that describes your work or your project, you may make a short (15 minute) presentation, or perhaps highlight your accomplishments by giving a brief online demonstration. Whatever your presentation style, we encourage you to come and share your activities with other technical services professionals.
Please contact Susan Mueller ([email protected]) with your questions, ideas, or proposals. All ideas will be considered. We want to hear from you! The deadline for sending a statement of interest is November 4, 2011.
