Career Center Students Volunteer at Columbia Pike

On Monday mornings, the Columbia Pike Branch Library often has a huge assortment of just-returned movies, CDs, and other audio visual materials that need to be shelved.

How do we make sure they all go back where they need to be? We have a lot of help!

We are fortunate to have assistance from some incredible volunteers from the Arlington Career Center's Supported Work and Transition program. This group of students comes in every Monday for several hours, and puts our AV items back on the shelf, so they are ready for Library users to find.

We appreciate all the hard work from these and all of our dedicated volunteers. We could not serve you so well without them.
