Columbia Pike Book Club to Resume Sept. 14

The Columbia Pike Branch Library's Book Discussion Group resumes its monthly meetings on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. with the 1970 novel Fifth Business, by Robertson Davies. All are welcome.

Fifth Business is widely considered to be a modern classic and draws extensively on Davies? interest in Jungian psychology and theory of synchronicity. The novel is infused with Davies' love for magic and mythology, as well as his fascination with small town mores.

Copies of the book may be checked out at the Columbia Pike service desk. For further information please contact the Columbia Pike Library at 703-228-5710.
