Donated items now being accepted for book sale
Donated items are now being accepted for the fourth annual ?Pages for Pennies Book Sale.?
Donations of used books, CDs, DVDs, LPs, board games, puzzles, and sheet music are being accepted now through May 8th. Donated items can be dropped off in the lobby of Bridge View Center during regular business hours. Items can be left in two shopping carts draped in black located immediately inside the center?s main entrance.
The book sale draws its inspiration from the former YWCA book sale with the proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Ottumwa Public Library, Bridge View Center, and Ottumwa Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.
We appreciate all donations, however, condensed books, magazines, videos and cassette tapes will not be accepted due to the few sold at previous sales.
Sale organizers ask that donated items be clean and in good condition. All items must be brought to Bridge View. Book sale volunteers are unable to pick-up donations.
