Mission Statement:
The Oskaloosa Public Library exists to serve as a primary source of information, education, recreation, and personal fulfillment for all of the city of Oskaloosa and Mahaska County.

The FY2014-FY2016 Strategic Plan for the Oskaloosa Public Library provides a blueprint for action and development over the next three years. This document describes the Planning Committee?s processes and outcomes and details the Library?s strategic goals, objectives and actions. In view of the Library?s current challenges and opportunities, the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan reflect the Oskaloosa Public Library?s commitment to serving the community of Oskaloosa and Mahaska County through improvements to its resources, programs and services.
