Introduction to Grant Seeking Basics for Nonprofits - Dec. 1

Are you a representative of a nonprofit organization? Are you new to fundraising? Do you want to know more about Foundation Center resources and how to research the funding process? Join us at the Central Library Auditorium on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 6:00 p.m. for Grant Seeking Basics: An Introduction to the World of Foundation Fundraising.

This free course provides an overview of the funding research process for those seeking grants from foundations, corporations, and grantmaking public charities. A demonstration of Foundation Directory Online (which is available at the Library) will be included, showing how to create customized searches to develop lists of prospective foundations that will match your organization's funding needs.

Please fax registration to (703)228-0805 by November 30, or register online. In-person registration will also be available Dec. 1, from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.

Note: This program is not intended for individuals seeking grants for their own use. Please see Foundation Center resources for Individual Grantseekers. If you are a representative of an NGO or a U.S.-based nonprofit with international programs, you may be interested in taking Grantseeking Basics for International Organizations.
