One Book South Dakota

We can read books alone, but until we discuss them, the process doesn't seem complete.

You are invited to read
Dammed Indians Revisited by Michael L. Lawson
and join in the discussion at
Madison Public Library
Thursday, August 16, at 7 pm

The book is the One Book South Dakota 2012 selection, exploring the impact of the federal government's Indian policies and the 1944 Pick-Sloan Plan that flooded Sioux reservations along the Missouri River.

John Nelson, Dakota State University, will lead the discussion.
Copies of the book are available at the Library.
