Central Library has gone to the dogs!

The library has started a new program in partnership with PAL (People Animals Love), a local animal therapy organization. Elementary school aged children are invited to come and practice their reading skills by reading to trained therapy dogs for 15 minute sessions.

These dogs are great listeners and are a perfect way for struggling readers to gain confidence in their skills.
