Part of Shirlington's Real Life Reels series, Edvins Snore's 2008 film explores the similarity between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, and the secret friendship that took millions of Ukrainian lives during the "Holodomor" famine when food resources were taken away from the Ukraine and exported to Nazi Germany. The conclusion of the film examines the impact of the Soviet legacy on modern day Europe.
