Summer Reading: The Circ System Admin Shares Her Favorites
We asked Rebecca, our Circulation System Administrator (she understands the patron account system better than almost anyone), to share a few of her favorite books from when she was a kid:- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle - "The idea of time travel as a child was fascinating. The idea that you could go anywhere - forwards or backwards - into time and meet anyone was mind-blowing. I still really like time travel concepts - Time Travelers Wife, Dr. Who, etc."
- Bunnicula by Deborah and James Howe - "I loved it as a child because the idea of a vampire bunny was hilarious"
If your child hasn't registered for Get Caught Reading, don't worry. The final date to sign up is Wednesday, Aug. 31, and the final date to turn in reading logs / win a prize is Saturday, Sept. 10.
