One World, Many Stories |
Summer approaches, and that means it's time for our annual summer reading program, Get Caught Reading!Registration starts Wednesday, June 15, and on Saturday, June 25 participants of all ages are invited to join us for tons of fun Kickoff events at Central Library.- Preschool and Elementary Registration
- Middle and High School Registration
Why should your child participate? - It's easy! Sign up, read, get a prize and help rebuild a library in Haiti!
- Studies have shown that free, voluntary reading over the summer prevents "summer reading loss" (which is when students start the school year behind where they finished the previous June)
- Kids read more when they can choose books based on their own interests, which isn't always possible during the school year.
