Why Celebrate Banned Books Week?


What is the point of Banned Books Week? To remind us of our "freedom to access information and express ideas, even if the information and ideas might be considered unorthodox or unpopular.?(ALA)  So join us Sept. 25 - Oct. 2 in commemorating our First Amendment right to read, write and access information.
