Your Library Card
Most Iowa residents are entitled to a free library card. Proof of current address and a photo I.D. are required. Please visit the circulation desk on the 1st floor to obtain a card.
Children must be at least 3 years old to have a card under their name. Children and teens under the age of 18 must appear with a parent or legal guardian in order to get a card.
A library card must be presented in order to check out materials or use a computer. For the protection of cardholders, we will not check out materials to a person's account unless the card is presented. Replacement cards are $5.00.
Books, CDs, audio books, magazines and non-fiction videos can all be checked out for two weeks. These items may be renewed twice in person, by phone or online. Music CDs are limited to 5 per library card.
DVD and Blu-Ray feature films and DVD games are due by closing on the third day after check out. There is a limit of 5 of each format per library card. No renewals are allowed on these items.
Items can be returned inside the library on the 1st floor or by using our convenient drive-through located on the west side of the building.
