"Phantom Tollbooth" Author's 81st Birthday

Happy Birthday to Norton Juster!

On Wednesday, June 2, the Aurora Hills Branch Library will mark the 81st birthday of architect, teacher, and author Norton Juster.
Celebrate with us by reading his debut title, The Phantom Tollbooth, first published in 1961 and illustrated by Jules Feiffer.

Readers of ALL ages will delight in this quick-reading, witty and touching story about a little boy named Milo whose boredom leads him to The Lands Beyond - where nothing is ever as it seems, and things as simple as numbers and words take on whole new meanings.

The Aurora Hills Librarians will be thumbing through their well worn copies this week, so check out the book for yourself and join us in getting stuck in the Doldrums, befriending Tock the Watchdog, and jumping to the Land of Conclusions!
