Billy Wilder Film Series at Shirlington

This winter the Shirlington Branch Library and Signature Theatre partner to present a Billy Wilder Film Series.
"From the late 1930s to the early 1960s, Billy Wilder dominated Hollywood?s Golden Age. With over fifty films and six Academy Awards to his credit, he is one of Hollywood?s all-time greatest directors, producers and screenwriters. His films range from stark melodrama, to antic farce, to satiric comedy. Billy Wilder has had a powerful creative influence on both the experimental and traditional film industries in America."
- American Masters, PBS

All films are unrated and the program is free and open to the public. Please note that the Feb. 7 screening of Sunset Boulevard will take place in lieu of the February Page to Stage program, and will begin a half hour earlier than a typical Page to Stage program to allow time to screen the entire film.
