Believe it or not, it is time once again to consider presenting at next summer's Laptop Institute. This past July, over 460 administrators, teachers, and tech staff from 36 states and 8 countries shared their successes and concerns about 1:1 initiatives. Now in its 5th year, Laptop Institute 2007 will be held July 15-17 at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, TN.

We've added many more options to present this year, with more hands-on workshops as well as the chance to be the student in a "real" laptop classroom. We are also spotlighting edtech leaders with presentations that address the vision and philosophy of laptop programs nationwide.
The deadline for proposals is December 8. Meanwhile, please check back at our site in the next few weeks as we add both the registration and hotel reservation links. Due to overwhelming response, we had to close registration six weeks early last year, so you may want to register early to reserve your space.
