Cherrydale Book Group Fall Titles
The Cherrydale Branch Library's book discussion meets at 7:30 p.m., on the second Monday of each month. Newcomers are always welcome, no matter when you read the book. We hand out Library copies of each books at the previous meeting, but you can also ask about available copies of our titles at the Cherrydale circulation desk, or by calling 703-228-6330.
There will be no August discussion, so we plan to read The Help during July and August, and discuss it at our September meeting. For Fall 2011 we will read: - Monday, Sept. 12 - The Help, by Kathryn Stockett. Copies will be given out at our July 11 meeting.
- Monday, Oct. 17 (1 week later than usual, because of Columbus Day) - Priceless: How I Went Undercover to Rescue the World's Stolen Treasures, by Robert K. Wittman
- Monday, Nov. 14 - Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen
- Monday, Dec. 12 - Pearl Buck in China: Journey to The Good Earth, by Hilary Spurling (a follow up to last March's title, The Good Earth)
