Discussion of "Waiting for Snow in Havana" at Central July 11



All are welcome to the Central Library's Truth is Stranger Than Fiction book discussion of Waiting for Snow in Havana: Confessions of a Cuban Boy by Carlos Eire.

This National Book Award-winning memoir, written by a survivor of the Cuban Revolution, recounts his pre-war childhood as the religiously devout son of a judge, and describes the conflict's violent and irrevocable impact on his friends, family, and native land.

Truth is Stranger Than Fiction meets on the 2nd Monday of the month, from 7:00 ? 8:30 p.m. If the 2nd Monday is a holiday, another Monday will be chosen. There is no meeting in August or December. For more information, call 703-228-5945
