Do you like to explore Arlington on foot? Come out this Sunday, Aug. 14 at 9:30 a.m. for Pike Hike II, WalkArlington?s Walkabout of Columbia Pike Town Center West, led by County Board Chairman Christopher Zimmerman.

Starting and ending at the Columbia Pike Branch Library, the route highlights international culinary hot spots, one-of-a-kind shops, landscaped apartments, rolling parkland, quaint bungalows, historic churches, a campus of County facilities and resources, and the popular Sunday Columbia Pike Farmers Market. After hiking the Pike, grab a snack at the Farmers Market and catch a shuttle from the Library to Thomas Jefferson Community Center for rides, games, and fun at the final day of the 2011 Arlington County Fair. Or visit the Library - we open at 1:00 p.m.!
