After having to cancel their original visit on account of technical difficulties, the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center's traveling tank - Ocean In Motion - will be coming to Central Library on Tuesday, August 17.
The program features hands-on experience for children, with live animals from the bay and the ocean. Parents and children will be able to tour the tank and exhibits from 3:15 - 7:00 pm. No tickets are required for this part of the program.
There will also be a skit and craft program at 2pm, which will require tickets. Tickets are free, and can be picked up at the Central Library Youth Services desk beginning Monday, August 16. Tickets are available on a first come-first served basis, until capacity is reached.
