Abstracts only, not to exceed 300 words, should be submitted by December 3, 2012, to [email protected]Authors will be notified as quickly as possible whether their papers have been accepted. Authors are required to register for the conference and present their work in person.Keynote Speaker: Chris LambChris Lamb is a professor of journalism at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis where he teaches courses in sports journalism. He is the author of six books, including Conspiracy of Silence: Sportswritersand the Campaign to Desegregate Baseball (2012) and Blackout: The Untold Story of Jackie Robinson's First Spring Training (2004). His articles have appeared in Sports Illustrated, New York Times, Washington Post,Newsweek, and Los Angeles Times. He is currently working on his third book on race, baseball, and the press.
