Celebrate 30 years of great local food this weekend at the Courthouse Farmers Market!

Join the celebration from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with Guest Chef in the Market Tours, agriculture events, gardens to go, kids' activities and more.

The Courthouse Farmers Market first opened in 1979, through the Arlington office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension service.  At that time only Bethesda and D.C. hosted weekly markets, so the Courthouse Market was established in response to county residents' requests to have a local market to patronize weekly. Today the Courthouse Market continues to promote local farmers' produce and be an indispensable part of the community.

The Courthouse Farmer's Market takes place Saturday mornings in the Arlington County Courthouse Parking Lot, at the corner of N. Courthouse Rd. and N. 14th St. - right next to the Plaza Branch Library and Arlington Shop building.
