How the Women in Military Service Memorial became a Reality
You are cordially invited the join the Arlington Historical Society for a presentation by Brigadier General Wilma Vaught, USAF(Ret.) on how the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, at Arlington National Cemetery, became a reality. The Arlington Historical Society's annual membership meeting is also part of the program.Brigadier General Vaught is president of the Board of Directors of the Women In Military Service For America Memorial Foundation, Inc. The memorial was dedicated in 1997 and is visited by 200,000 people annually.
