Taylor School Art Display at Cherrydale

Several fifth graders at Taylor Elementary School are displaying their art work at Cherrydale Branch Library.

This exhibit is the result of a collaboration among the school's art teachers, its language arts teachers, the library and Cherrydale patron, Jane Miller. The students' assignment was to illustrate a book or short story they've recently read, emphasizing perspective and emulating the style of Vincent Van Gogh. One of the books selected to illustrate was Bridge to Terabithia by Katerine Paterson. Taylor teacher Elizabeth Ashley organized the exhibit.
