Tomatoes and peppers and carrots, Oh My!
The Library Learning Patch
is a gardening group geared toward
homeschool families in the area
sponsored by
the Red River County Public Library
.
The group is led by Mrs. Sheri Schwed, a certified Texas Master Naturalist,
volunteering via the Red River Chapter.
Throughout the spring, the group will learn hands-on about plants and their many attributes by planting a small vegetable garden and observing and caring for it each week.
The group will meet each Thursday afternoon through May at 1:00 pm.
Registrations will be accepted until February 24.
