"Little Green House" Program Sunday at 3 pm

The "Little Green House" first visited Central Library as part of Arlington Reads this spring. Now the model LGH will make a return appearance at Central for the week of May 17, in advance of a May 23 program celebrating its creation.

Here are the details about the event:
Sunday, May 23, 2 p.m. - Arlington Central Library Auditorium / Central Library Rear Plaza
Students from Arlington Public Schools' Career Center will show off their newly completed "Little Green House," a small model dwelling on wheels made from recycled and Earth-friendly materials.
Then Martin Ogle, chief naturalist for the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, will discuss how the "Little Green House" project and other efforts are a part of a new ?ecological view of economics.?

This event is co-sponsored by the Arlington Career Center and Potomac Overlook Regional Park. Call 703-528-5406 for more information. And click here to watch videos of the "LGH."
